FHIT by Lauren Hannaford has been nothing short of a revolution for me. As a young woman with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and Metabolic Disorder, my body, my weight and the confidence and shame tied to it had become tiring. I’ve tried a lot of different things to lose weight and always felt as though I was punishing myself and body for being bigger.
FHIT has turned this tired old pattern on it’s
head for me! The focus on fitness, and pushing my body to see what it can DO rather than just how it looks has been refreshing and powerful. Each time I do my session I push myself harder, I can see and feel the difference in my ability, strength and fitness. FHIT makes me feel like I’m working with my body to achieve more, not against it, and my improved fitness reflects that. Ironically, since I’ve been less focused on weight-loss and more on my fitness my body shape has changed and I feel fantastic.
Loz is a powerhouse!! Her sessions are relentlessly positive, highly effective and wonderfully challenging – after 15 minutes you’re finished and you feel phenomenal. I LOVE this program, and am happy to be continuing on this journey with Loz as a mentor. I highly recommend the program for anyone, regardless of their fitness level or body type. If you want to shift your focus and health into a positive direction and get real results FHIT is for you.
I haven’t wanted to stop the workouts after the 6 weeks and i am so excited to keep going to continue seeing more results. The 6 week program was just the start (and as Loz would say) “to living the FHIT life”
I can honestly say that I feel like I’ve tried every work out program and diet plan under the sun which can get pretty tiring when you put in everything and don’t see results, or they don’t allow you to have a normal lifestyle, or are just too hard to stick to.
FHIT with LOZ is absolutely SENSATIONAL!!
From the first week through to the last, I felt challenged and motivated. It’s so achievable and is just 15 minutes away from the best work out ever!

The program caters to your abilities, so you can start off with what you can manage and as you become familiar with the program, and your confidence increases in the exercise routines, you can really start to challenge yourself by working harder and faster to get more out of your 15 minutes.
The program is also incredibly flexible, you can do it at the park if the sun is out, at home in your lounge room or in a hotel room if you’re travelling with work or holidaying.
Before I started the program I personally really struggled with the idea of getting up early to exercise but NOW I wake up at 5am (which is crazy because I’d never be awake before 7am at the earliest!!) And I basically bound out of bed now doing the 15 minute program and taking the dog for a run.
My whole outlook and enthusiasm for exercise has changed!!
I feel like I’ve increased my fitness, improved my posture, toned up my body, have more energy and confidence!! I could not recommend FHIT highly enough, it’s a great place to start if you are time poor, or need a program that is flexible around your lifestyle.

Before I started FHIT I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to get back into a good workout routine. My partner and I had been training together for a long time, but she got an injury and then fell pregnant, so I stopped waking up at 5:30am to go to training with her and began sleeping in, eating bad foods (‘sympathy pregnancy’ as I called it) and being generally lazy.
FHIT was the shock to the system that I needed. Only 15 minutes per morning got my blood moving, made my head clearer, and gave me structure, without being overwhelming. I got my mojo back and I even started eating well when I ate takeaway (something I’d never done). It didn’t take very long before I was waking just before my alarm too, meaning my body was getting used to waking up early again. FHIT has also motivated me to start City2Surf training, and I feel so much leaner than I did last year – a real bonus.
Now that my partner is almost due with our baby boy, I’m looking forward to being able to continue to train in between caring for him – 15 minutes is all it takes.
I can’t recommend FHIT enough, especially for the lazy dudes out there, just like I was. Now I’m living the FHIT life and it’s awesome.
